Dr. Jim Chapman, D.M.D.

Dr. Jim Chapman grew up in the small town of Lucasville, Ohio, where at the age of 15 he decided he wanted to be an orthodontist. He graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Biological Sciences from Clemson University in Greenville, SC and received his D.M.D degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. Dr. Chapman completed his orthodontic residency at the Medical College of Virginia. He has been proudly serving patients for 8 years and we are proud to have Dr. Chapman join our Family Orthodontics offices in Cumming and Dawsonville.

Dr. Chapman is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Southern Association of Orthodontists, Georgia Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association, Northern District Dental Society and the Hinman Dental Society.

In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons watching movies, water skiing, playing basketball, collecting old baseball cards and eating ice cream!
